Clinical Negligence - Legal
advice
We hope that you are satisfied with the care you receive from all your
medical advisors, but in the event that you are not, legal advice can be
obtained from specialist firms of solicitors.
Only a small number of solicitors are members of specialist panels and able to
obtain Legal Aid to investigate or pursue any claim. One such firm is
Pattinson
& Brewer

Medical journals
Bandolier is a
really spiffy little journal written by doctors looking at the
best evidence for treatments. The articles are easy to read and
understandable and cover a wide range of subjects.
The British Medical Journal
usually has a variety of articles. Aimed at doctors but often
some of the editorials, news and smaller tidbits are readable.
The New England Journal of
Medicine is a little less accessible but gives a view point
from the United States. Again, written for doctors.
It allows you to search medical journal articles but you can easily
